"Kaskaskia River Watershed - An Ecosystem Approach to Issues & Opportunities"

Many agencies (federal, state, and local) and interest groups have partnered together for many years throughout the Kaskaskia River Watershed. The groups have invested many resources to study specific issues and concerns along the river. The purpose of this study is to identify all of the studies and documents that have been prepared over the last 20+ years and summarize the findings of the studies. The watershed groups are defined by local region into one of the following categories: Champaign to Lake Shelbyville Dam, Lake Shelbyville Dam to Carlyle Lake Dam, Carlyle Lake Dam to Fayetteville, and Fayetteville to Confluence with Mississippi River.

Funding provided by IDNR and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
