Partnership Vision
The partnership's vision is the desired future condition that they want to see in the Middle Mississippi River corridor.  That vision statement is as follows:
 
"To develop a network of diverse and sustainable natural resources on public and private lands in the Middle Mississippi River corridor that adequately supports wildlife habitat and provides conservation benefits consistent with a variety of other issues."
 
Partnership Mission
The partnership's mission highlights who the partnership is and how they plan to accomplish the vision for the corridor.  That mission is as follows:
 
"The MMR Partnership is a collaboration of federal and state agencies and not-for-profit organizations working to restore and enhance the natural resources of the corridor through public and private resource management, compatible economic development, private lands conservation, and education and outreach to the citizens of the region."
 
Area of Focus
"Lands and waters between the bluffs from the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers south to the Confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, including the Ohio River floodplain up to the planning limits of the Cache River."
