A number of individual funds have been established, allowing donors the opportunity to invest in the program that most closely meets their individual interest(s).
General Fund - A General Fund has been established to which individuals, corporations, or other sources of giving may direct funds for environmental purposes. The Board of Directors of the Southwestern Illinois Environmental Fund will direct monies provided to the General Fund to worthwhile projects on a regular basis.
Endowment Fund - Donations to the Endowment Fund will be held until such time at this fund reaches a level of $500,000. Once this threshold is achieved, additional donations, and interest earned on the Endowment Fund may be directed, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, to worthwhile projects within the region.
Donations may also be directed to any of the individual partners that participate in the Southwestern Illinois Environmental Fund. The Partner will invest the donation in a specific project, which meets the overall mission of the Fund.
Carlyle Lake Fund - donations provided to this fund will be directed to projects brought forward by the Carlyle Lake Association.
Confluence Greenway Fund - donations provided to this fund will be directed to projects brought forward by the Confluence Greenway Partners.
Lower Kaskaskia Fund - donations provided to this fund will be directed to projects brought forward by the Lower Kaskaskia Association, Inc.
Southwestern Illinois Fund - donations provided to this fund will be directed to projects brought forward by the Southwestern Illinois Resource Conservation and Development.
