With four individual partners, the Southwestern Illinois Environmental Fund is a balanced group of organizations with a combined knowledge of local environmental needs, as well as the expertise and human resources necessary to implement projects. Over the past decade the individual partners have collectively raised millions of dollars to assist in protecting environmental resources within the region. By combining efforts, there is a reduction in duplicative services, as well as a much greater ability to leverage from other sources, including state and federal agencies and private foundations.
